Are you on the Beach? No, we are not on the beach. We are located on the right hand side of Harrington Road as you drive into Harrington, just after you hit the 60km/hr speed limit. Courtesy buses can pick up and drop off to the local pubs and clubs.
What is the population of Harrington? Just over 2,300 people reside in Harrington.
Do you have ice available? No we don’t. Ice can be purchased from the IGA and Liquor stores.
What days is the office closed? The office is closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day and Australia Day. If arriving on any of these days, office staff will contact you prior to your arrival to make arrangements for your check in.
What are the reception hours?
Monday to Saturday – 9am – 5pm
Sunday – 9.30am – 4pm
Please note we have different receptions hours in winter (June & July), these hours are:
Monday to Friday – 9am to 4pm
Saturday – 10am to 4pm & Sunday – 10am to 3pm

Can my kids ride their scooters, skateboards or rollerblades around the park? No, the roads throughout the park are public roads, therefore it is too dangerous to allow kids on scooters, skateboards or rollerblades. For use of Scooters, skateboards and rollerblades there is a great skate park in Harrington near the break wall. There is also a great walking path along the riverfront.
Can my kids ride bikes around the park? Yes, push bikes and balance bikes are allowed with a helmet. No helmet, no riding.
Please note that the park roads are public roads and it is your responsibility to make sure your kids are car smart.
Do you have wifi available? Yes we do have wifi available to park guests staying in cabins or on sites. Wifi is free for the first week (7 days) of your stay. Data bundles can be purchased after the week is up if you would like to stay connected.
Can I bring my pet? Yes
Do you charge extra for animals? No we don’t charge extra on accommodation however we reserve the right to charge a pre-authorisation up to $50.00 on your credit card for cleaning fees in respect of cabin accommodation, if the unit is left in an unreasonable state OR our pet or non-smoking policy inside units is ignored. Any major breakages, damages or items removed from a unit will be invoiced separately and charged to your credit card. The pre-authorisation will be released upon inspection of unit being satisfactory.
What animals do you allow? Dogs, Cats, Birds (For other animals please ask at the office)
Is there a limit to how many pets I can bring? Yes within reason. If you have more then 2 animals please let the office know.
Do you have a size limit? No we don’t
How do I let you know I’m bringing a pet? When making your booking online, please fill out the ‘pets’ comment section with the type of animal and it’s name! When making a booking through the office, just let our staff know over the phone.
Are pets allowed inside the cabins? Yes, within reason. Pets are not allowed to be on any furniture and must have their own bed to sleep in. Fees apply if your animal destroys any furniture.
Are the cabins dog safe? Yes, each cabin has a fully enclosed verandah perfect for leaving your dog securely outside.
What are the rules regarding my pet? Pets must be on leads at all times when being walked through the park.
Owners must pick up after pet using a plastic bag and dispose of in bin provided near Camp Kitchen area.
Please respect your neighbours by keeping dog barking to a minimum.
The office staff must be informed if you have a pet.
Pets must be up to date with flea and tick treatments.
We allow you to treat your pet as a member of the family while staying with us. Please respect our cabins and the policies we have in place so we can keep this privilege ongoing.
Do your cabins have a kitchen? Yes, all of our cabins have new kitchen facilities, including gas cooktop, convection microwave, fridge, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Do your cabins have a bathroom? Yes, each cabin has an ensuite with shower, basin and toilet.
Do your cabins have air conditioning? Yes, each cabin is fitted with reverse cycle air conditioning.
Is Linen provided? Yes, all beds have sheets, quilts, blankets and pillows.
Are towels provided? Yes
Are your cabins child friendly? Yes, each cabin has a fully enclosed verandah, locking screen door and locking sliding door. However adult supervision at all times is recommended.
How close is the camp kitchen and pool area? Extremely close! The camp kitchen and BBQ area is within 10m and the pool is within 20m.
Is there room to park a boat? Yes, each cabin has a cement slab out the front with plenty of room for your boat and car. Please notify office before bringing your boat to ensure there is enough room at your chosen cabin during peak periods.
Are their any extra costs? Extra costs will be incurred if damage is done to any furniture, linen, walls or appliances within the cabins. Please be honest and report any damage as you leave, if you don’t the fee may be higher. We reserve the right to charge a pre-authorisation up to $50.00 on your credit card for cleaning fees in respect of cabin accommodation, if the unit is left in an unreasonable state OR our pet or non-smoking policy inside units is ignored. Any major breakages, damages or items removed from a unit will be invoiced separately and charged to your credit card. Are the cabins secure? Yes, each cabin has a locking screen door and locking glass sliding door.
When are your cabins cleaned? Each cabin is thoroughly cleaned after each stay. All linen is replaced. Bathroom, kitchen and floors disinfected.
Each cabin is also given a spring clean 4 times a year where the outside is washed down and the interior is cleaned from top to bottom including ceiling, walls and floors.
POWERED & UNPOWERED SITES
Do your powered sites have concrete slabs? Yes, our powered sites have concrete slabs, fresh water taps and grey water disposal.
What is the maximum size caravan or bus you can fit? From 4m up to 20m long.
Do you have drive-through sites? Yes we have 4 large drive through powered sites available.
We are fully self contained, do you have cheap sites for us? Yes we have options for Fully self contained rigs on our unpowered sites.
Are we near the amenities block, kitchen and pool? Powered sites 3-7 are the closest to the original amenities block, Camp Kitchen and Pool.
Sites 8-31 are close to the new individual amenities block/laundry and BBQ area. They are a short walk to the pool and camp kitchen. All unpowered sites are close to the new individual amenities block and a short walk to the pool and camp kitchen.
Where do I park my vehicle? All vehicle need to be parked within the boundary of your site. If you are having visitors there is allocated visitor parking at the entrance of the park or near the new amenities block.
CHECKING IN & OUT
What time can I check in from? Checking in can be done after midday. If any earlier please contact office.
What time do I have to check out by? 10am.
Do you allow late check out? Yes, however there will be a fee. Please organise with office staff first.
What if I am arriving outside of reception hours? Please notify the office and they will arrange other methods for you to enter the park.
Where do I park when checking in? As you enter our driveway please park on the left hand side and follow the path to the office.
How do I get through the boom gate? When checking in, a boom gate access card will be given to you.
What if I am arriving on a public holiday? The office staff will make arrangements for your entry before you arrive.
